Seasalt & Peanut Butter Brownies

(Gluten and Dairy Free)
Makes 12



200g good quality plain cooking chocolate
250g vegan spread
4 eggs
300g golden caster sugar
125g gluten free plain flour
100g chopped toasted peanuts
2 tbls Freda’s Cornish Sea Salt Peanut Butter



Preheat oven to 190C (170C fan)
Line a 10 x 7 inch (25 x 17cm) tray with parchment.

  1. Melt the chocolate and the spread in a medium sized bowl in the microwave.
  2. Beat in the eggs.
  3. Add sugar, flour and peanuts and stir until just combined.
  4. Pour into the prepared tin.
  5. Add peanut butter on top in small blobs and swirl into the mixture.
  6. Bake 25 minutes until just set to touch.
  7. Allow to cool in the tin before cutting into squares.
